Taught 13 different courses, developed 6 courses, and served as Program Coordinator. Conducted research in Computer Architecture and Intelligent Systems as Principal Investigator (PI) or co-PI of funded research projects totaling approximately $4.2M of which roughly half was from Federal sponsors. Completed over 80 publications in conference proceedings, journals, and book chapters. Directed a total of 26 graduate students whom have completed MS thesis or Ph.D. dissertation, 5 additional Ph.D. students currently under advisement. Six of my former advisees have pursued full-time faculty positions at accredited universities and three are tenured.

Conducted research in Autonomous FPGA Repair on XilinxXCV1000 platform. Developed and refined new GA representations, FPGA routing strategies, experiment design, and publication of results.

University of Southern California - Los Angeles, CA: 1989-1992, Research Assistant
Research in application-specific Computer Architectures. Designed the SNAP-1 Multiprocessor, a 144-CPU DSP system for real-time speaker-independent continuous speech processing.
